7 months old!

On Sunday Kynlee turned 7 months old!
We were traveling home from our weekend at the beach so I was unable to post then.
This picture was taken on Sunday while we were doing some sight-seeing at Ft. Clinch before returning home.
I quickly regretted not putting her in the boba. There were many places this stroller wasn't able to go at the fort so we had to take turns. We made it work, though.

Anyways... this past month flew by in a flash! K finally got her 6 month shots about 3 weeks late...
At this appointment (on 3-17-11) she weighed 15 lbs., 6 oz. and was 25.75 inches long!

At 7 months Kynlee's personality is shining through more than ever. She smiles ALL THE TIME and we can't get enough of it! Speaking of her sweet smile, I was FINALLY able to get a picture of her two teeth, thanks to this bad boy.
I am so thankful to have this new camera because with my point & shoot I was constantly missing all most of the cute things K did! I could never get a picture of her teeth with my old camera, but now? Check out this toothy grin:

I can tell she wants to crawl, but hasn't figured it out just yet. If I lay her down on her blanket, she'll scoot backwards or sideways off of it. If she's sitting up and sees something out of her reach, she'll lean forward and start rearranging her legs trying to get into a crawling position. She'll get the hang of crawling soon enough...and then I'm going to be a busy momma chasing her around :).

Kynlee is so BUSY lately and into everything. It makes it hard when taking pictures!

Currently K is wearing 6-9 months (any brand) & 9 months (Carter's brand) clothing. For footed, zip-up sleepers, she can still fit in a size 3-6 months. It makes me sad to have to pack up her 3 month clothes :(.

K thoroughly enjoyed her first beach trip! While there, K had her first sink bath and she seemed to love it!
I plan to add a separate post with more beach pics real soon so be looking for it! Her favorite part was [without a doubt] eating the sand! Not sure if you can see all the sand on her face but if you click the  picture it should make it bigger!
We had such a great time and can't wait to go back again soon!

Everything goes to and in her mouth these days so we have to keep a close eye. Usually it's just her hands, our hands, or her toys. A few mornings ago I woke up to her biting my finger, as hard as she could. Not my ideal wake-up call, that's for sure!

She has gotten better at putting her pacifier in her mouth by herself. However, her current favorite thing to do is pull her "fire" out and throw it, with crying to follow. Silly girl!

Kynlee has also gotten a lot better about reaching around for toys that she wants - whether they're behind her, in front, or on the side of where she's sitting.

Baby-led weaning is going great still and she has tried lots of foods thus far, such as: chicken n dumplings, mashed potatoes, butter beans, lemon, mandarin oranges, avocado, buttermilk biscuits, grits, broccoli, penne pasta, and the two most recent... onion and carrot (which she LOVED). The only thing she wasn't too interested in so far was the mandarin oranges, but that could have been because she was wrapped up with a lemon.

Co-sleeping is still going amazing and she still sleeps through the night for the time being. We say your prayers together as a family before bed and have done this every single night since you've been born. Even when daddy was away for a couple of weekends, he'd call and I'd put him on speaker so we could pray together. This is very important to us.
I get anxiety when I think about her being away from me at night, in her crib, in another room. We'll continue to co-sleep until it's not working for her anymore. Naps have gotten longer it seems, too. We've started laying her on her stomach for naps (while closely watching her, of course) and she seems to nap longer that way. At night she still sleeps on her back.

Kynlee has always loved bath time, but it seems like she loves it even more here lately. She can go from a screaming fit to happy as can be when put in the bathtub! We know that not all babies enjoy baths, so we are happy that she does... at least for now!

At the risk of sounding like a broken record...where does the time go?
Happy 7 months, sweet baby!
Momma and Daddy love you more with each passing day!
